- 4 cups roasted peanuts raw works too!
- 1/2 tsp salt
Optional Mix-Ins
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1-2 tsp vanilla extract to taste
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Add the peanuts to a food processor and turn on for about 1 minute. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides, then repeat until the peanuts become creamy and smooth (about 8 minutes).
Once it reaches the consistency you like, flavor it up with your mix-ins if using. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month at room temperature in a cool dark place (pantry is great!) or up to 3 months in the refrigerator.
Recipe makes about 3 cups (48 tbsp) of peanut butter! Feel free to halve if needed.
